The Foundation Mondo Animale was founded in November 2001
by Dorothea Friz and the German Tierschutzbund e.V.
Dorothea Friz is a German veterinarian, that lives in Italy since 1983 and works on projects, in order to
fight the tramp hood of dogs and cats.
The Foundation purpose is that everything possible should be done
that is promoted in Italy respect opposite animals, especially through education and enlightenment. In order to reach
this goal, a training center is planned to be built, that an usefulness animal farm is connected for didactic purposes.
The Foundation will collect all information, studies, projects, useful news
concerning animals and their welfare. Through constant information and publicity, people will learn more about the needs and
problems of animals and their relationship with humans.
Known personalities in Italy, that are active with the area
of the advanced training, declared themselves ready to participate in the advisor of the foundation and will be a
big help for working of the same:

advanced training by Amtstieraerzten as institutional task

manner under Miteinbeziehung of his/its citizens and under observation of the sanitary aspects

Universitaetsdozentin in Rome, that has since many years of experience in the
education of teachers, especially in the animal protection area

Journalist and author, who have fought for the elimination of the tramp
hood for over 25 years
THE FONDATION MONDO ANIMALE PROMOTE:

- •microchipping or other technical systems to identify pets and
the implementation of a Europe wide data base
- •adoption campaigns for dogs and cats
- •spaying/neutering of dogs and cats
- •fundraising to finance equipment for spay/neuter centres actively
cooperating in the anti-stray battle
- •cooperation with organisations who practice AAA/AAT
(use of animals for human welfare)
